Owner of Laksalicious Penang, Christine Ooi strives to serve one of the best Assam Laksa in the heart of Penang. Especially with their own unique touch, they have successfully opened their doors to the public lately. They use a mixture of spices and seasoning such as garlic, lime and shrimp paste to bring out that signature Asian taste to excite your taste buds and accentuate the freshness of the ingredients used. Of course, their house specialty would be Laksalicious Penang’s signature Assam Laksa – aims to thrill those with stubborn local palate. It comes with a piece of prawn cracker, generous amount of julienned lettuce, mint leaves, onions, pineapples and cucumbers and not forgetting the quintessential, torch ginger. The broth has a balanced medley of sour, spicy, and savoury sense of elegance.

Also, by keeping with simplicity, the centre attraction of the event space is its plain white wall with artsy fancy abstract designs displayed and tastefully decorated with nature design and pictures as wall decoration.

Laksalicious Penang can be found at Hutton Lane, a stone’s throw distance away Sunflower Cake House and Hutton Mansion Wine Haus. Street parking is available surrounding the event space. If you plan on taking the Rapid Penang bus, make sure to stop at Jalan Segerat as it would only take less than 5 minutes to reach the event space.
