Greenhouse by Muir is a beautifully constructed building just off Jalan Ampang. The Muir in this case is John Muir. The famous John Muir who’s the founder of the Sierra Club. The John Muir who was an early advocate of the preservation of wilderness in the United States. Living up to the ethos espoused by the late great John Muir, Greenhouse by Muir wants to turns ideas into reality, delivering the idea of Environmental Philosophy & Environmental Ethics through the love for food.

The Space

Greenhouse by Muir has a three-level space that is home to the Kuroshio Market and Evendough Bakery Cafe on the ground floor. Brycg which is a New Orleans inspired eatery operates on the 1st floor. Kuroshio Market operates as a food hall concept. Buy what you want and eat at the shared dining tables. We like it for it being a different kind of event venue and this would serve quite nicely for informal parties and get togethers for up to 50 to 60 pax comfortably. There is also an outdoor dining area for those who do not want to sit inside the air-conditioned food hall.

Location

Greenhouse by Muir is located on Jalan Nipah, just off Jalan Ampang. You can find it easily as its architecture of a square glass building stands out from everything around it. Or just look for the Gleneagles hospital, of which it’s next to. They have a small car park inside the compound and there are more parking available along the main road.
